This site is operated by E Scalability Commerce LLP, trading as E-Scalability, registered in India. We are the data controller for the information described here, which means we decide why and how it is used.
For anything in this policy, write to support@e-scalability.com. A person reads that inbox.
Only what you type into one of our two forms. We collect nothing passively.
Name and email are required. Everything else is optional, and leaving a field blank will not stop us replying.
Our web host records standard access logs, which include the IP address and browser type of everyone who visits. This is automatic and applies to every website. Under EU law an IP address counts as personal data. We do not use these logs for marketing and we do not connect them to form submissions.
No analytics, no advertising pixels, no session storage, no embedded video, no third-party fonts, no social widgets. The page loads its own files and nothing else. This is why you are not seeing a cookie banner.
If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before anything is set.
We use what you send us for one purpose: to prepare the audit you asked for and to reply to you about it.
Under the GDPR our lawful basis is legitimate interest — you approached us asking for a service, and replying to that request is what you would reasonably expect. Where consent is the more appropriate basis, for instance if we later send you marketing unrelated to your original enquiry, we will ask for it separately and you can withdraw it at any time.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it to build profiles, and no automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
When you submit a form, the contents travel from your browser to a Google Apps Script, which immediately emails them to our support inbox. Nothing is stored on the website itself. The site has no database, and we keep no copy of your enquiry anywhere except that inbox.
Our support inbox runs on Google Workspace, so Google acts as our processor, handling the data on our instructions under its Workspace terms. Our team in India reads that inbox to prepare your audit and reply to you.
Aside from Google, we share your information with no one, unless we are legally required to.
We are based in India. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, replying to your enquiry means your information is accessed from outside that area.
India does not currently hold an EU adequacy decision, so transfers of this kind rely on appropriate safeguards rather than adequacy. We rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, including those Google provides as part of its Workspace data processing terms.
If you would like to know more about the safeguards that apply to your information, email us and we will explain them.
We keep enquiry emails for 24 months, after which we delete them from our inbox. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as we work together and for whatever period our accounting and tax obligations require afterwards.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any point, and we will.
The GDPR gives you the right to ask for a copy of what we hold, to have mistakes corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent where consent is what we relied on.
Email support@e-scalability.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
Several states, California and Virginia among them, give residents the right to know what is held, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information in any sense, including the broad definition California uses. We extend the same access and deletion rights to every US visitor regardless of state, because it is simpler and fairer than checking.
Use the same email address. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.
The site is served over HTTPS, so everything you type is encrypted in transit. Submissions arrive in a Google Workspace inbox protected by our account access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but the surface here is deliberately small: there is no database to breach and no data stored on the website itself.
This is a service for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Where a change is significant, such as introducing analytics or a new processor, we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing the text.
Questions about this policy, or want your data removed? Email support@e-scalability.com and a person will read it.
